Job Description The Technical Sales Representative for ANI / RVI products is responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy for a defined territory, promoting and demonstrating the company's products and services to meet sales targets. This role requires technical knowledge of the product line and the ability to demonstrate products effectively. As an outside sales position, travel about 60% of the time to meet customers for product demonstrations and sales activities.
Job Duties
Visit customers to demonstrate products and discuss sales opportunities daily within the territory.
Follow up on leads and prospect for new business opportunities.
Prepare quotations and coordinate with sales engineers and support staff.
Work with team members to coordinate overall sales efforts.
Review and improve sales plans, increase sales to active and prospective customers, and improve product presentation skills.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
Utilize CRM tools for daily tasks and reporting.
Complete sales reports, manage opportunities, and participate in local professional organizations.
Operate within the company’s Code of Ethics and learn the Miller Heiman strategic selling methodology.
Attend sales meetings and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent sales experience.
Minimum 1+ year experience in high-end capital equipment sales or similar.
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to learn scientific principles and technology of the equipment.
Preferred Skills
Territory management abilities.
Self-motivated, strategic thinker.
