The Vice President (VP) of Construction will be responsible for the overall project management of onsite and offsite activities, including maximizing quality and profitability, staffing, leading the construction team, coordinating resources, and cultivating client relationships. The VP will oversee projects from pre-bid to closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met. This role is a strategic leadership position within the organization, aligning construction practices with company goals. The role may be hybrid, combining in-office and remote work. General Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and develop teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Outlook, Primavera, and Procore. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Excellent decision-making skills with a business and financial understanding. Completion of at least one SCI project as a project manager. Experience with multiple delivery types (CMAR, Design Build, Stipulated Sum, Negotiated). Ability to assess schedules, create recovery schedules, and implement them. Duties
Provide oversight, strategic direction, and project management support for active and upcoming projects. Manage multiple projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Improve company processes related to project planning and execution.
