Annual salary for beginning Communications Officers is $39,411.12 (non-negotiable) with an additional holiday compensation of $2,501.09, totaling $41,912.21 Description Responsibilities:
Answer, prioritize, and dispatch emergency and routine calls for law enforcement, fire, and medical services. Operate a two-way radio, utilize a computer-aided dispatch system, and perform related duties. Must work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends, and be able to respond during civil unrest and natural disasters.
