Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days, Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:30 (5/8s) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required to submit Certifications: ARRT (N) or NMTCB, BLS Must-Have: - Proficient in IV starting - Very good I.V. starting skills - Ability to multi-task Job Description: - Perform all general nuclear medicine studies and cardiac studies - Duties include imaging patients as per general nuclear medicine requirements - Operate 2 GE Discovery 630 Gamma Cameras for imaging - Use EPIC EMR system and SECTRA PACS for data management - Work under the supervision of a Radiology Supervisor and Lead Tech for Nuclear Medicine - Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols; radiation badge required prior to starting assignment - Participate in a department-specific orientation - Participate in call-coverage duties with a 30-minute response time, though call-backs are very low Working Environment: - Personal scrubs of good taste required - Department-specific orientation provided Additional Requirements: - Availability for weekend and holiday shifts as required - Engage in a dynamic work environment with steady daily scanning workload
