Massage Therapy Program - Adjunct Faculty Continuing Education

Position: Massage Therapy Program Adjunct Faculty
The Adjunct Faculty member is responsible for teaching both didactic and clinical instruction in the program. Teaching responsibilities include traditional face-to-face format with online supplement, lab, and clinical supervision. Qualifications:
Must hold a valid Maryland State Massage Therapist license, and have at least five years of working experience in the massage therapy profession. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, follow written or oral directions, and work both cooperatively and independently. Must be able to lift 45 lbs. and move massage equipment. Adjunct Faculty may need to work evenings, weekends, and attend Community Outreach events. Teaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities: Provide didactic and clinical instruction in Massage Therapy, including classroom, laboratory, and clinical supervision assignments. Maintain Maryland Massage Therapy License/Certification. Work collaboratively to achieve departmental, divisional, or institutional initiatives. Maintain scheduled availability to students. Conduct and supervise simulated and community outreach experiences. Monitor student progress in labs and clinical rotations. Follow established rules of the college and the accrediting body.
