Job Description
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health needs or significant medical diagnostics. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing, ensuring adherence to all protocols. The role involves direct patient interaction, creating a comfortable environment while performing skilled, safe, and accurate procedures. The PSR I is expected to demonstrate leadership, maintain confidentiality, and focus on process excellence.
Responsibilities Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the supervisor's direction Maintain a safe and professional environment Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties confidently and accurately Maintain required records and documentation Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment Work independently with minimal on-site supervision Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, WA) Experience:
Minimum 6 months required 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred Customer service experience in retail or the service industry is preferred Proficiency in keyboarding/data entry is essential Benefits
