Private Group Practice High-Volume Heart Center Albany-Troy Region, NY
A well-established and highly respected private anesthesia group in Upstate New York is actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join their growing team. This full-time opportunity supports an expanding cardiac surgery program within a major regional heart center.
Position Highlights:Compensation: $650,000/year starting salary
Sign-on Bonus: $100,000
Schedule: 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts with a 1:5 call rotation
First call every 8th night, no second call
Case Volume: 6 8 cardiac cases/day
Cases: CABG, valve replacements, complex cardiac and vascular surgeries
Coverage Locations: Albany and Troy campuses
Practice Setting: High-volume inpatient heart center
Number of ORs: 30
No OB or trauma cases
No CRNA supervision required
Patient Demographics: Primarily adult and geriatric, some pediatric
EMR: Not specified (inquire for details)
Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology (within 5 years of eligibility) Required
ECHO Board Certified and/or Fellowship-Trained in Cardiac Anesthesiology Required
New York Medical License (or willingness to obtain) Required
BLS, ACLS, PALS (by start date) Required
Strong preference for fellowship-trained cardiac anesthesiologists
Must be willing to commute beyond a 30-mile radius from facility locations
Open to H-1B visa candidates (J-1 not accepted)
