Our experienced staff of board-certified radiologists, technologists and support personnel are committed to providing the most accurate, safe, timely and caring medical imaging and interventional radiology services.We are looking for a Mammography Technologist to join the team! The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for adhering to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists' Code of Ethics. This will be achieved through collaboration with the entire IHS team, our referring community, and our patients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.Responsible to review patient orders image requests, and patient questions.Perform image procedures while upholding IHS patient service quality standards.Obtain patients' histories from electronic records, patient interviews, dictated reports, or by communicating with referring clinicians.Review or transmit images and information using picture archiving or communications systems.Evaluate medical information to determine patients' risk factors, such as allergies to contrast agents, or to make decisions regarding the appropriateness of procedures.Confer with medical professionals regarding image-based diagnoses.Establish or enforce standards for protection of patients or personnel.Monitor procedures to ensure adequate quality control of images.
