The technologist will participate in conducting polysomnography and titrations. Candidates will be required to use Alice 6 software. Independent troubleshooting of home sleep studies is also expected. The position involves rotating between two facilities. Two nights will be spent at one location and one night at another. The sleep lab consists of six beds and requires the ability to work autonomously. Candidates should be comfortable with a patient ratio of 2:1. Additional knowledge of various sleep disorders and applicable technologies is necessary. All applicants must have certifications in hand prior to submission. Preferred candidates will either be Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or Registered Respiratory Therapists with sleep experience. Floating to different facilities may be required. Candidates are expected to work two out of three major holidays. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory. Submissions require two supervisor references. Candidates must meet specific experience and competency criteria. The ability to assist with complex cases and patient management is critical.
