Business Analyst / QA Specialist (MS Power Apps platform)

Contract to hire opportunity for a BA/QA with Power Apps platform project experience.

We are seeking a
customer-focused Business Analyst / QA Specialist
to join a dynamic consulting team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives at the crossroads of people, process, and technology-someone who isn't afraid to ask the right questions, get into the details, and rigorously test solutions before they are delivered to clients.
As a key member of our
agile delivery team , you will partner with both clients and developers to define, refine, and validate custom business applications built on platforms such as
Microsoft, SAP, and other cloud ecosystems . You will take ownership of gathering business requirements, writing user stories, participating in Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring product quality through robust testing practices.
Partner with business stakeholders to uncover goals, pain points, and process needs. Translate business requirements into clear, actionable
user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows . Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as
sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews . Design and maintain comprehensive
test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices
aligned to business and technical requirements. Conduct manual and/or automated testing to validate
functionality, usability, and performance . Track and manage defects, collaborating closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Work with delivery leads to ensure
requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with project scope . Support
user acceptance testing (UAT)
and assist with training materials and go-live readiness. Required Skills & Experience
5-10 years
of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or in a hybrid BA/QA role. Solid understanding of
SDLC
and
Agile/Scrum
frameworks. Strong experience writing
user stories, acceptance criteria , and managing
backlogs . Proven ability to design and execute
functional, regression, and UAT testing . Experience with
Microsoft Power Platform Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both business and technical stakeholders. High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
Hands-on experience with
DevOps tools
(e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail). Familiarity with
test automation tools
(e.g., Selenium, Power Automate Test Studio). Exposure to
SAP functional modules , especially within finance or supply chain areas Understanding of
cloud integration patterns
or
low-code/no-code platforms . ITR Group offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and 401(k) for eligible employees. The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $52.00 - $63.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
