Sr. IT System Security Engineer

OPPO US Research Center is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Information Security Lead to take ownership of our data protection, cybersecurity, and information security programs. This individual will play a key role in preparing the company for CISA audits, implementing real-world security solutions, and supporting IT infrastructure operations as needed.
Requirements
Lead the preparation for CISA audits, ensuring compliance with data and information security requirements.
Design, implement, and maintain hands-on cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, endpoint protection, DLP, and identity/access management.
Draft and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with U.S. best practices.
Actively monitor, assess, and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans.
Maintain security systems and documentation required for regulatory compliance .
Serve as the liaison for cybersecurity initiatives across departments.
Train staff on security awareness and best practices.
Work closely with the IT team and contribute to IT infrastructure support, including Network administration, Helpdesk operations and Microsoft O365 tenant administration
Qualifications
Fluent in Chinese (spoken and written)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred)
5+ years of hands-on experience in information security or cybersecurity roles
Strong background in network, endpoint, and cloud security - Experience with CISA audit preparation and NIST compliance frameworks
Familiarity with endpoint protection, and encryption
Industry certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$200,000 + bonus + long term incentives benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
