This key role will serve as the chief instructional officer, providing visionary leadership across all academic disciplines to enhance the student learning experience. The successful candidate will be instrumental in: Planning and implementing cutting-edge academic programs in response to community needs. Developing and overseeing academic policies and educational planning processes. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality student learning and institutional outcomes. Building and maintaining partnerships with educational and governmental entities. Managing curriculum development and instructional budgets effectively. As a vital member of the College's governance, you will represent the institution to the community and drive initiatives fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. Applicants should possess a Master's degree from an accredited institution (Doctorate preferred) and have a minimum of 5 years of administrative experience in college-level instruction, along with 3 years of experience in college-level teaching. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college stakeholders, as well as knowledge of California Community Colleges' mission, programs, and policies. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills are essential to this role, along with the ability to cultivate teamwork and consensus.
