Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager
to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage and maintain strong, long-term client relationships with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and tailored insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting businesses in protecting their assets, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial insurance clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert advice. Develop and execute strategies to retain and grow the client portfolio while identifying opportunities for cross-selling insurance solutions. Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and other key stakeholders to deliver customized insurance programs that meet client needs and comply with insurance regulations. Provide policy reviews, coverage analysis, and recommendations to clients to ensure they have the protection they need for their businesses. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and products to best serve clients and provide informed recommendations. Oversee the processing and renewal of policies, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Build relationships with carriers and negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage on behalf of clients. Contribute to team initiatives and participate in training sessions to share insights and develop best practices. Document all client interactions accurately in the company's agency management system and ensure adherence to compliance requirements. Qualifications/Requirements
At least 3 years of experience as an account manager (5+ years preferred), with a proven track record in a client-facing role. Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license. Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and risk management principles. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in the use of agency management software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously with a detail-oriented approach. Compensation Package
Compensation: Between $65k-$85k (based on experience). Competitive benefits package, paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.
