Job Description
McLaughlin Research Corporation (MRC) is seeking a Hardware and Software Engineer who will support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport RI. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is the United States Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive weapons systems associated with undersea warfare. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skill and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule driven environment.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering) or related fields (Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics) Five (5) years of experience with reliability engineering, Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or closely related field. Five (5) years of experience as a software engineer on a design/development effort, CompTIA Security+ Certification. Five (5) years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance
