Data Analyst / Business Analyst
Location: onsite hybrid -Miami, FL (3 days a week)
Length: 6 months +
Notes: Looking for someone who is a generalist with a blended background of BA/DA with some data science. Ideally someone who can speak to the business, understands complex business operations, and understands how to work with an offshore team. Relatable industry experience is a plus (fuel, business operations or cruise) Must have good communication skills to speak to the business and leadership Experience with snowflake, tableau and app dev is desired They will be responsible for streamlining app dev working methods (snowflake and python are being used)
We are seeking a versatile Data Analyst / Business Analyst with a strong analytical mindset and foundational data science skills to support business operations and app development initiatives. This role is ideal for a generalist who thrives in dynamic environments, understands complex operational challenges, and can effectively collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and interpret business use cases with a focus on operational (non-pricing) processes. • Collaborate cross-functionally with app development, offshore teams, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize data needs. • Leverage tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, and Python to extract insights and build visualizations that inform strategic decisions. • Support the streamlining of app development methodologies, integrating data workflows where needed. • Translate technical data findings into clear business insights and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. • Monitor and analyze guest satisfaction and equipment performance data to drive actionable improvements. • Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports that support operational efficiency. Key Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Scientist with a generalist profile. • Proven experience with complex business operations and cross-functional collaboration. • Strong proficiency in Snowflake, Tableau, and Python. • Experience working with offshore teams and understanding cultural and workflow nuances. • Solid communication skills with the ability to convey technical insights to business audiences. • Experience with app development processes or collaboration with app development teams is highly desirable. • Familiarity with guest satisfaction metrics, equipment monitoring data, or operational efficiency KPIs is a plus. Preferred Attributes: • Curious, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities. • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience in a hospitality, consumer services, or retail operations setting is a bonus.
