We're looking for an experienced
Transportation/Roadway Project Manager
to lead civil engineering projects with a focus on roadway design and public infrastructure. This position requires a strategic leader with strong technical expertise, excellent client relationship skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality transportation projects for municipalities and public agencies. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage both internal teams and external consultants to deliver transportation and roadway projects. Develop and negotiate project scopes, schedules, and fee proposals. Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource planning to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct quality assurance/quality control reviews on all project deliverables. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with municipal and public agency clients. Represent the firm in project interviews and client presentations. Supervise, mentor, and support the professional development of junior staff. Contribute to the execution of company-wide strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required. Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona. 10-20 years of experience in roadway design and project management for public agencies. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage technical work, and meet client expectations. Strong background in client engagement, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and relationship management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
