Reports to the departmental administrator. May take direction from full-time staff. Working Hours and/or Working Conditions:

To be determined. Work hours will be based on college work-study funding. Scheduled work hours may not conflict with class hours. Position terminates at end of semester or when award is exhausted. Hours may not exceed 20 per week. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to follow department processes and procedures are required. High degree of accuracy and confidentiality is necessary. Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Strong time management and the ability to work as part of a team is required.

Performs general office duties including but not limited to filing, answering phones, copying, scanning, and shredding. Uses Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel to support the department. Assists full-time staff in the planning and implementing projects and in addressing department issues. Assists in tracking and ordering supplies. Prepares and distributes department mail. Picks up from and delivers items to departments throughout the college, as assigned. Greets and directs internal staff and external clients visiting the department. Communicates with staff from other department or agencies outside the college in a professional manner as appropriate. Responsible for assisting full-time staff in scheduling meetings and updating calendars. Performs other related duties as assigned.
