The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting on jobs up to $30M and will be in charge of running smaller work up to $5M. This is a great opportunity to gain experience as a PM on smaller jobs while being exposed to larger projects you can grow into. Client Details Our client has been in business over 100 years and are a well respected builder in the multifamily space. They operate on mid-sized builds typically between 50-100 units in and around the greater Boston area. Description The responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily and Mixed Use Projects Support the Project Manager in all phases of the project lifecycle, including preconstruction, construction, and closeout

Help manage project documentation including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports

Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets

Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work

Track and update project progress, costs, and billing

Participate in job site meetings and provide on-site support as needed

Help manage project-specific safety plans and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Assist in project buyout and subcontractor procurement

Monitor quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications and standards

Maintain positive relationships with owners, design teams, and subcontractors

Profile The successful Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily and Mixed Use Projects Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

2+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction (General Contractor experience strongly preferred)

Strong understanding of construction means and methods

Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar)

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Willingness to be on-site as needed
