Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily And Mixed Use Projects
The responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily and Mixed Use Projects include: Support the Project Manager in all phases of the project lifecycle, including preconstruction, construction, and closeout Help manage project documentation including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work Track and update project progress, costs, and billing Participate in job site meetings and provide on-site support as needed Help manage project-specific safety plans and ensure compliance with safety protocols Assist in project buyout and subcontractor procurement Monitor quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications and standards Maintain positive relationships with owners, design teams, and subcontractors MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The successful Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily and Mixed Use Projects: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction (General Contractor experience strongly preferred) Strong understanding of construction means and methods Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar) Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Willingness to be on-site as needed What's on offer for the Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily and Mixed Use Projects: Salaried role Health Care Dental, Vision etc. PTO Paid Holidays Additional benefits
