is looking to hire a

Network Engineer

to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO but involves traveling to other work sites such as Schriever Space Force Base, Alaska, Guam, and Europe to perform job duties that include deployments.

The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

Responsible for understanding the planning, deployment, integration, and testing of upgrades to the C2BMC network at operational sites Travel to remote locations to install networks, troubleshoot issues, and give status updates to Program personnel Excel and perform your best in a collaborative and agile environment

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 1 years of experience, or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

A DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, CND, GICSP, etc.) is required to start Must know about network design, development, and testing methodologies Must understand the

OSI Model ,

TCP/IP , routing protocols

BGP

and

OSPF Must possess skills in network traffic analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting Must have firewall expertise with

Juniper ,

Fortinet , and

Palo Alto Must be familiar with:

UDP multicast SONET MSPP VLANs GRE Tunnels TCP/IP network designs

Must understand multi-vendor switching and routing ( Juniper, Cisco ), WAN optimizer,

TACLANEs , and optical transport equipment

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

A current and active in-scope DoD-issued

Top Secret

clearance is strongly preferred

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $105,000 - $115,000
