The Opportunity We're seeking a hands-on Product Owner who will drive innovation from concept to delivery. You'll help identify opportunities for new AI-powered solutions in nuclear operations, define product strategies, lead development teams through agile sprints, and ensure successful delivery to our customers. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of nuclear technology while working with industry experts and cutting-edge AI.

What You'll Do Product Innovation & Strategy

Identify and validate new product opportunities by working directly with nuclear facilities to understand their operational challenges

Define product vision and strategy for new AI solutions that address critical nuclear industry needs

Conduct market research and feasibility studies to prioritize product initiatives

Create business cases and ROI models for new product development

Build proof-of-concepts and MVPs to validate product ideas with customers

End-to-End Product Development

Own the complete product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and post-launch optimization

Translate nuclear operational requirements into detailed product specifications and technical requirements

Create and maintain product roadmaps that balance innovation with customer needs

Define success metrics and track product performance against business objectives

Scrum Leadership & Execution

Run daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions

Write comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria that capture complex nuclear workflows

Manage sprint velocity and ensure teams deliver on commitments

Remove blockers and facilitate communication between engineering, QA, and stakeholders

Champion agile best practices while adapting to nuclear industry constraints

Testing & Quality Assurance

Define testing strategies that ensure products meet nuclear industry standards and regulations

Participate in hands-on testing of new features and products

Coordinate user acceptance testing with nuclear facility personnel

Implement feedback loops and continuous improvement processes

Ensure products meet compliance requirements including 10 CFR Part 810 and export controls

Product Delivery & Implementation

Manage product releases and deployment strategies for on-premise and secure cloud environments

Create implementation plans that account for nuclear facility constraints and outage windows

Develop training materials and documentation for nuclear operators

Support Customer Success teams during initial deployments

Gather post-launch feedback and iterate on product improvements

Stakeholder & Technical Collaboration

Work closely with AI/ML engineers to explore new applications of artificial intelligence in nuclear operations

Partner with nuclear domain experts to ensure technical accuracy and operational relevance

Collaborate with sales teams to understand market needs and support business development

Present product demos and roadmaps to customers and executive leadership

Build relationships with nuclear industry organizations (INPO, NEI, utilities)

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

5+ years of SaaS/startup product management experience with hands-on product development

Experience taking products from concept to market launch

Strong technical background with ability to work closely with engineering teams

Proven track record as a Scrum Master or leading agile development teams

Experience with testing methodologies and quality assurance processes

Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively about complex challenges

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in highly regulated industries (nuclear, aerospace, healthcare, financial services)

Background in industrial automation, SCADA systems, or enterprise software

Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their practical applications

Knowledge of nuclear power plant operations or similar complex industrial environments

Experience with on-premise software deployment and air-gapped environments
