Product Owner
Location: Phoenix.

About the job Advantra is partnering with a large-scale digital services platform in Phoenix to hire a Product Owner to define and deliver data-driven, AI / ML-powered personalization products across customer experiences.
About the role You will lead the roadmap and strategy for AI and data-driven products that enable real-time personalization. The role involves collaborating with Data Science, Engineering, and Compliance teams to design, deploy, and monitor ML models and integrate their outputs into customer-facing products. You will manage stakeholder alignment, ensure compliance with privacy standards, and translate technical insights into clear product outcomes.
Responsibilities
Define and manage the roadmap for data-driven and AI / ML-powered products.
Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to build and monitor ML models.
Translate model outputs into personalized product features.
Partner with Privacy, Compliance, and Legal teams to meet governance standards.
Enable data pipelines and experimentation frameworks with engineering teams.
Drive stakeholder adoption across marketing, analytics, and customer support.
Participate in Agile PI Planning and prioritize backlog features.
Synthesize complex data into clear narratives for technical and non-technical partners.
Align business and technical teams to deliver personalization at scale.
Core requirements
5+ years of product management experience in data or AI / ML-focused products.
Experience in travel, financial services, or lifestyle platforms.
Working knowledge of ML principles, lifecycle, and model explainability (SHAP, LIME).
Proficiency with SQL, JIRA, and Confluence.
Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, and Python.
Understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP (BigQuery, BigTable, Vertex AI).
Experience with data pipelines, ETL / ELT, and real-time personalization engines.
Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and model governance practices.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven record of leading cross-functional delivery teams from analysis to implementation.
Nice to have
Familiarity with ML Studio, Copilot, and GitHub.
Understanding of Elasticsearch and large-scale data systems.
Experience with model risk management and compliance reviews.
Background in customer segmentation and recommendation systems.
Presentation skills in PowerPoint for stakeholder communication.
