Our client, a leading Management & Strategy Consulting firm, is seeking a skilled CAT Business Analyst to support a prominent financial institution in enhancing its regulatory reporting operations. This role requires deep expertise in the
Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT)
domain and strong business analysis capabilities. The selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and remediate issues related to CAT reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Define and implement the Target Operating Model, including roles and responsibilities across Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, Technology, Front Office, and Supervision teams. Draft comprehensive business requirements focused on addressing high-priority and critical CAT defects. Conduct impact analysis to categorize CAT reporting issues into thematic buckets. Develop test scripts and execute test cases to validate resolutions and system changes. Apply expertise in Comparative Review and Back Reporting specifically within the CAT reporting framework. Utilize JIRA to manage user stories, track defect resolution, and maintain full lifecycle documentation.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience specifically working with CAT reporting within financial services. Strong understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks, including prior experience with Comparative Review and Back Reporting. Proven experience in writing business requirements and performing testing activities. Proficiency in JIRA and familiarity with Agile delivery models. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
