ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Hang parts in preparation of paint using a variety of hooks and racks Clean and prepare part surfaces for paint using Alkaline cleaners, Pretreatments, or solvents Follow shop schedule and travelers for each job Mask treads and plug holes as required Handle product safely using a forklift, cranes, or carts to move product Perform preventive maintenance on equipment Inspect finished parts to ensure conformance to customer specifications Drop parts to pallets or dry racks once paint is dry Maintain and keep area safe, organized, and clean Enter times and close jobs on a computer after completion Effectively manage time to ensure on-time delivery of every project QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma or equivalent Prior parts hanging a plus Prior washing and paint prep a plus Ability to read blueprints a plus Ability to work independently as well as effectively as a team member Adhere to ISO procedure qualifications Strong sense of safety and following all safety procedures Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to understand and follow through on verbal instructions is required Excellent hand-eye coordination to consistently mask parts and plug holes along with the ability to accurately measure areas for masking Consistently demonstrate sound safety practices, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand on ladders, kneel, bend down, and stretch is required. Physically able to wear protective equipment on a regular basis is required. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
