Job Title: Backup/Storage Engineer
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months
Required Qualifications: Must have
- Storage, cohesity, commvault, SAN, NAS Data Protection & Recovery • Team manages backup and restore environment for the firm • Using 2 backup products - Cohesity & Commvault - They are using 80% Cohesity and 20% Commvault - Their preference is Cohesity experience here, worst case then Commvault
Responsibilities: Ability to consultatively articulate complex technical findings to more experienced management in clear, concise, understandable terms Proficient knowledge and understanding in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations) Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management) Design (compliance, security) Network Engineering (planning, provision) Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology Executes against understanding of best practices and policies
