El Dorado Disposal , a Waste Connections company, is actively seeking a safety-oriented CDL Driver to join our dynamic team! This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Starting pay is $27.00 per hour.
The pay range for this position is $27.00 to $32.00 per hour. The work schedule is
Monday-Friday
starting at either
3:30am or 4:30am , depending on the specific line of business (e.g., Commercial, Residential, Roll-Off). Occasional Saturday shifts may be required. This is a full-time position. WE OFFER: Competitive Wage

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely operate a garbage truck along designated routes to collect solid waste. Previous waste experience is preferred but not required.
Follow route sheets and service each customer as assigned by the dispatcher.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading, often without assistance.
Utilize hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at specified facilities.
Engage courteously with customers and perform other job-related duties as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: Extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds.
Exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts, necessitating adherence to basic safety precautions.
Work outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions, fumes, and vibrations; noise levels are usually moderate.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of truck components for pre- and post-trip inspections.
