GreenWaste of Tehama, part of Waste Connections, is seeking a
dedicated and safety-focused CDL Truck Driver
to join our vibrant team! This position requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, starting at 4:30 AM, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed.
Pay Range:
$26.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on experience. What We Offer: Attractive compensation

Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate a garbage truck or street sweeper on designated routes to collect solid waste or maintain cleanliness.
Follow route sheets to serve each customer as assigned by the dispatcher.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Perform physically demanding tasks that may require loading and unloading without assistance.
Utilize hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
Engage courteously with customers and carry out miscellaneous job-related duties as required.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort: Heavy physical activity involving strenuous work; capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.
Exposure to physical hazards, including moving mechanical parts, requires adherence to safety precautions.
Outdoor work environment subject to varying weather, including wet conditions, fumes, and vibrations; typical noise levels are moderate.
Minimum Job Requirements: Valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
Clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Basic understanding of truck components for pre- and post-trip inspections.
