Best Workplaces award in 2024 and The Washington Post Top Workplaces in 2022.Job Summary:The Business Analyst (BA) is an expert in assigned systems solutions and business operations, supporting our client's enterprise systems integration projects. The BA will assess evolving business needs and ideas, act as a liaison between functional, technical, and leadership groups, and communicate actionable recommendations to improve business operations and processes. This role is responsible for writing detailed requirements, facilitating user acceptance testing, and supporting project leads with larger project implementations. The BA will also coordinate project stakeholders and deliver regular reporting using project management tools and client-desired reporting structures.Essential Responsibilities:•Lead business analysis activities by partnering with functional and technical stakeholders to assess systems, identify needs, and propose integration and process solutions•Organize and facilitate stakeholder sessions to capture evolving business needs, requirements, and system improvement ideas•Document, define, analyze, and translate business needs into actionable functional and technical requirements•Develop and review requirements documents, use cases, test plans, and other functional and technical artifacts•Facilitate testing efforts by validating system functionality against business requirements•Support data validation, data cleansing, and integration activities to ensure quality and accuracy of enterprise data•Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and leadership to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables•Provide regular status updates and communicate work product progress to project leads and client stakeholders using project management tools and reporting structures•Promote best practices in data analysis, data management, and business reporting•Capture and document meeting minutes, workflows, requirements, and best practices to support project knowledge sharing•Assess evolving business ideas and operational challenges to recommend enhancements to business processes, systems, and workflows•Collaborate with enterprise project teams to identify, document, and implement process and system improvementsCorporate Standards:•Comprehend and align to established goals and objectives within the framework of the Worldgate Continuous Feedback Approach•Stay up to date on computer skills and best practices, such as word processing software, spreadsheet software, presentation software, Adobe software, email management, digital calendars, and video conferencing•Understand Worldgate's mission, values, and behaviors (The Worldgate Way) and ensure that daily interactions with Worldgate internal and external parties align to Worldgate's values and behaviors•Comply with criminal background check standards by maintaining a clear record throughout employmentKey Competencies:•Business Analysis•Problem Solving•Technical Acumen•Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication•Process Improvement MindsetRequirementsQualifications & Skills:Required:•Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university•1-3 years of experience in a role involving data analysis, business process improvement, and/or supporting system-level initiatives•Experience gathering and writing business and technical requirements•Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail•Experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL databases, and BI reporting tools•Familiarity with back-end database systems and languages•Ability to assess evolving business needs and translate them into system and process solutions•Proficiency in computer skills - word processing software, spreadsheet software, presentation software, Adobe software, email management, digital calendars, and video conferencingEqual Opportunity Statement:Worldgate LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment, without regard to race, color, age, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, ancestry, national origin, disability, pregnancy, marital status, or gender identity.
