Front Desk Supervisor
plays a vital leadership role within the Front Office team. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, delivering outstanding guest service, and assisting with training and supervising front desk agents. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and able to lead by example during AM or PM shifts. Key Responsibilities
Supervise front desk agents and support team during assigned shift Handle guest check-ins/outs, reservation changes, and special requests Resolve guest concerns or service issues efficiently and with professionalism Ensure shift tasks, reports, and procedures are completed accurately Monitor lobby presentation and ensure team is delivering a welcoming, polished experience Train, coach, and motivate front desk agents to meet service standards Serve as the Manager on Duty when needed Communicate daily updates with other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, etc.) Oversee billing accuracy, payment handling, and end-of-shift reconciliation Schedule
Flexible scheduling: must be available for
AM and/or PM shifts AM Shift: ~7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PM Shift: ~3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Must be available on weekends and holidays as needed Qualifications
1-2 years of front desk experience in a hotel or resort required Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred Knowledge of hotel PMS systems (Mews a plus) Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Calm and professional under pressure Commitment to excellent guest service and team development Compensation & Perks
