Job Description:

The State of North Carolina's Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks an experienced

Senior ETL and Reports Developer

to support its client initiative. The developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ETL batch jobs and reports using

Oracle, PL/SQL , and

Power BI , ensuring optimal reporting solutions for the

FNS/SNAP

programs.

This role involves in-depth analysis of complex business requirements, development of advanced SQL queries, and implementation of efficient data pipelines and dashboards. The candidate will also provide

24x7 On-Call support

on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities: nalyze and document reporting requirements from business users. Design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based data extracts, ETL jobs, and reports. Build dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and other BI tools. Write optimized SQL queries for large datasets, including CLOBS/XML. Enhance and troubleshoot existing reports and queries for performance and accuracy. Perform data validation, auditing, and monitoring of reporting pipelines. Work collaboratively in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe). Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers. Participate in 24x7 support rotation as needed. Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years

of experience building data analytics solutions using

zure Synapse serverless SQL pools 5+ years

of experience performing data engineering with

zure Synapse Apache Spark pools 5+ years

of experience configuring, designing, developing, and testing dashboards using

Power BI 7+ years

of hands-on experience with

Oracle ,

Oracle Utilities , and

ETL tools 7+ years

of experience in

PL/SQL scripting

and

relational database modeling 7+ years

of experience working with

structured system development methodologies Proven ability to

build strong client relationships , respond to business needs with urgency, and identify solutions independently Strong ability to

organize, prioritize , and follow complex technical procedures Highly Desired Skills:

7+ years of

Data Warehouse

experience. Experience with

gile

methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). 5+ years of experience mentoring teams and owning project delivery. Familiarity with
