Position Summary
This class is used to perform clerical work in a variety of service centers. Incumbents perform general clerical and receptionist work of a fairly routine nature under direct supervision. Short-term employees may be assigned to this class during registration and other peak workload periods. Specific guidelines and established procedures characterize all assignments. This position is filled on an "as needed" basis for all campuses/locations. Applicants are contacted/hired year-round for assignments based on District needs. This pool is open continuously and refreshed once a year in July.
Applicants in this pool will remain active for one year. After one year applicants will receive an email with information on how to remain in the pool.

Incumbents sort, arrange, alphabetize and file materials, address and stuff envelopes, assemble and staple material; type lists, requisitions, reports, letters and memoranda; prepare records for microfilming; assist with student enrollment at peak periods; give information on routine procedural or directional questions; operate modern office equipment; perform other related clerical duties.
