Our client is a leading general contractor in the
Charlotte, NC
area and they are in immediate need of an experienced
Project Manager
to join their Land Development division.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop scope, schedule, budget, and coordinate with internal and external sub-consultants.
Conduct periodic design team meetings to inform and resolve issues.
Ensure accurate and timely billings to clients and make accounts receivable a priority.
Perform QC reviews and coordinate QA process by company policy.
Assist in formulating plans, cost estimates, timeframes, and specifications of projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must possess a BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Civil 3D experience is a plus
A minimum of 10 years experience and PE required (reciprocity in 3 months acceptable)
Demonstrated experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, and/or industrial site development projects
Demonstrated business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.
Analytical skills with the ability to prepare statistical reports.
Ability to work well independently and on a team.
Ability to communicate ideas and technical information to staff, supervisors, and clients in a professional manner.
Must have strong leadership skills with ability to mentor younger staff
Must have ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with project team and client
Ability to delegate and follow-up efficiently
Ability to travel as necessary to meet the needs of the position. Valid Drivers License Required.
