Job Summary

The E2F mobile application developer collaborates with Dr. Rebecca Panagos, faculty from the School of Business and Fine Arts, and students on the E2F Pride Team. This computer science student employee develops and deploys the Empower2Families (E2F) application, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in publishing and maintaining a multiplatform app.

Job Responsibilities Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence, Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University's values, Reports and documents weekly hours by task and location Documents and maintains up to date documentation to facilitate ongoing support and future development efforts. Collaborates closely with Dr. Rebecca Panagos and other Commercial Art and Business marketing faculty team members to align development efforts with project objectives and timelines through regular meetings and discussions to provide updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement Develops and iterates E2F Mobile App with React Native and Expo Go Initiates and maintains the deployment process for mobile applications, navigating the intricacies of releasing and managing an app on the App Store and Google Play Builds upon the foundation laid by previous interns, further developing the E2F app to meet evolving needs and standards Familiarizes and becomes experienced with technologies such as React Native, Expo Go, and GitHub, essential tools in modern app development Masters the steps involved in deploying and publishing apps and working with platform specific guidelines Consuls with IT specialists working with school district and non-profit agencies that adopt the E2F App from Google Play and the Apple App Store for their clientele may request further information or assistance Presents and demonstrates the E2F App to team members and potential agencies that might adopt the E2F App Job may require other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled at Lindenwood University Good academic and financial standing with the University Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- May be representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures Proficiency in working with React Native, Expo Go, and GitHub Ability to navigate the complexities of app deployment and management on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including adherence to platform-specific guidelines. Knowledge of the app publication lifecycle, including performing required testing to meet Google and Apple standards Skill in building upon existing codebases to continue development of applications such as the E2F App, ensuring alignment with evolving user needs and industry standards Strong presentation skills with experience delivering both in-person and virtual presentations to various stakeholders, including the Pride E2F App Team, K-12 school districts, and non-profit agencies Work Environment
