We are seeking a
Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analyst / Reliability Engineer
with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment. This role supports the Marine Corps Installation Communications G-6 Directorate’s efforts to enhance survivability and resiliency of information technology systems through advanced reliability analysis and maintenance strategies. This role ensures the resilience and operational readiness of “on-prem,” hybrid, and cloud-based ICT infrastructure through systematic maintenance analysis and reporting.
Location:
This position is located in
Arlington, VA
with duty responsibilities at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA as required.
Salary:
A salary range of
$75,000 - $125,000
(depending on experience and education).
Responsibilities:
Conduct Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses and develop Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) reports for Installation Communications systems.
Support analysis and tracking of system, application, and web portal outages and restoration times to improve operational uptime and mission effectiveness.
Collaborate with Marine Corps staff to assess and mitigate risks associated with IT hosting platforms (on-prem, hybrid, and cloud).
Develop probability of failure indexes and criticality ratings to guide maintenance prioritization.
Maintain a RCM-based database that supports Installation Operating Support-Information Communications Technology systems lifecycle decisions.
Advise and support development of cyber-resilient and fault-tolerant architectures.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
8+ years of experience in IT systems maintenance, engineering, or operations support.
Certified Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Facilitator (IRCC RCM Level 2 certification)
U.S. Citizenship and an
active Secret clearance.
Knowledge of data center operations, cybersecurity, and DoD risk frameworks.
Additional Skills:
Experience with Marine Corps or other DoD IT infrastructure.
Understanding of Reliability Engineering tools and statistical analysis.
Ability to develop outage dashboards and operational reliability tracking tools.
Strong technical documentation and presentation skills.
