Business Analyst - Journeyman

Overview:
PSR Associates is seeking a
Business Analyst - Journeyman
to support a federal program based in Quantico, VA. This role will support the ongoing sustainment and enhancement of a critical enterprise system under an existing long-term government contract.
Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and system requirements • Analyze internal and external data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making • Translate business needs into functional specifications for developers and testers • Support Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning • Conduct user acceptance testing and validate system changes • Prepare documentation such as meeting notes, process flows, and training materials • Support audit readiness and compliance documentation as needed
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field • 4-6 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis • 3+ years supporting external business analytics projects • Experience with data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) • Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills • Experience with Agile methodologies and requirements gathering • Active DoD Secret Clearance • Familiarity with federal enterprise systems or ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle EBS) • Experience with KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making
Nice to Have Skills: • Experience with federal government systems or supply chain support • Knowledge of ITIL v4 and Agile SAFe practices • Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and system validation • Understanding of STIG compliance and DoD cybersecurity
