Data Analyst - Journeyman

Overview: PSR Associates is seeking a
Data Analyst - Journeyman
to support a federal program based in Quantico, VA. This position is responsible for ensuring data quality, traceability, and integrity in support of a mission-critical enterprise system operating under a federal sustainment contract.
Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and analyze data flows across internal and external interfaces • Support root cause analysis (RCA) for data integrity issues and system incidents • Assist in the resolution of data-related trouble tickets and audit findings • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data extracts for operational use • Collaborate with interface and system teams to validate data mappings and transformations • Support audit readiness by ensuring data traceability and documentation accuracy • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide data insights to support backlog prioritization • Maintain awareness of system performance trends and provide recommendations for improvement
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or related field • 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a federal or ERP environment • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) data structures and reporting • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) • Familiarity with data quality management, interface monitoring, and audit support • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills • Shift coverage: Day - reporting/dashboards; Swing - trend analysis/backlog cleanup
Additional Required Tools/Technologies: • Microsoft Excel • Microsoft Word • Rational ClearQuest • Rational ClearCase • CMMI Level 3 • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have Skills: • Experience supporting 24/7 operations or shift-based environments • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps environments • Experience with data reconciliation, RCA, and interface control documents (ICDs) • Knowledge of audit compliance frameworks and data traceability • Exposure to system integration and external data exchange processes
