Location : Phoenix, AZ Schedule:
Monday - Friday (Full-Time) Salary:
$48,000 annually
Position Summary:
The Early Education Manager oversees daily operations of our licensed childcare center and leads a team of dedicated educators working with children from birth to age five. This role is key in ensuring our programs meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks while creating an engaging, safe, and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.
What You'll Do: Ensure classrooms, playgrounds, and kitchens are safe, compliant, and welcoming Support teachers through training, curriculum implementation, and technical assistance Monitor lesson plans, developmental screenings, and child/teacher interactions Guide staff in best practices related to child development, health, and safety Oversee DES and CACFP program compliance, reporting, and documentation Lead family orientations, enrollment processes, and communication Support and supervise front desk and administrative operations Fill in as needed in classrooms or kitchen to maintain smooth operations Manage medication logs, illness alerts, and daily staffing schedules Foster strong, supportive relationships with families and respond to concerns Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For:
Education & Experience - Required:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, OR 3 years equivalent experience At least 2 years working with children ages 0-5 1 year of office/administrative experience 1 year supervising staff and overseeing DES/CACFP programming 1 year of experience with grant compliance/reporting Preferred:
Master's degree in a related field Experience in a nonprofit setting Grant writing experience Bilingual in Spanish Skills & Qualifications:
