DBI’s long-term client is hiring for a Project Manager in their Healthcare studio. This dynamic role will lead all aspects of healthcare projects across the firm’s offices. The PM The ideal candidate will bring an architecture background with strong experience in healthcare projects. The right candidate will be able to work hybrid role with an in-office a minimum of two days per week. The right candidate must be results-oriented and service-focused. The ability to excel in ambiguity is also critical. The role: Lead the planning, execution, and closure of healthcare architecture and design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate and oversee the work of project teams, including architects, designers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery. Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation, adapting as needed to meet changing requirements and challenges. Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and healthcare standards, including safety and accessibility requirements. Provides thoughtful expertise and deep understanding of MEP, structural, and vendor coordination on healthcare projects with a variety of project delivery methodologies. Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to understand their needs, workflows, and patient care philosophies, integrating these insights into project design and execution. Facilitate project meetings and presentations, effectively communicating project status, milestones, and outcomes to all stakeholders. Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project objectives. Contribute to the firm's knowledge base and expertise in healthcare design, staying informed of industry trends, innovations, and best practices. Provide mentorship to the team and play an active role in Healthcare Studio initiatives. Ideal Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in project management software, as well as design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM. Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or architecture/design (e.g., AIA, NCIDQ) is preferred.
