Senior Assembler
to join a growing manufacturing team in Phoenix. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned assembly technician to contribute their hands-on skills in electronic and mechanical assembly within a dynamic, fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities
Perform both electrical and mechanical assembly tasks including soldering, board building, and sub-assembly integration. Place and secure electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using both leaded and surface-mount techniques. Conduct routine testing and quality control using scopes, meters, and inspection tools to ensure performance standards are met. Troubleshoot and repair defective components or assemblies; document and report issues with corrective recommendations. Maintain clean workstations and organized inventory; assist in tracking part usage and shortages. Support shipping activities by packing completed assemblies and transporting them as needed. Collaborate with supervisors to review schedules, resolve issues, and ensure smooth production flow. Assemble a wide range of products using BOMs, schematics, and technical drawings. Train junior team members and contribute to process improvements. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in electrical/mechanical assembly, including soldering and board building. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Proficient with hand tools, pneumatic drivers, and soldering equipment for both through-hole and surface-mount assembly. Familiarity with quality assurance protocols, including visual inspection, functional testing, and ISO documentation. Computer literacy and the ability to learn internal systems for documentation and reporting. Comfortable with repetitive tasks and maintaining accuracy under deadlines. Experience working in a structured manufacturing environment. Ability to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools. Must be able to work overtime, including weekends when needed. High School Diploma or GED required.
