Part Time Production Technician - Electronics Assembler
Pay: $20 - $26 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Flexible schedule within the hours of Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (full-time positions also available)
About Us: We are a local, small business specializing in electro-optical technology. We are seeking dependable Part-Time Production Technicians to join our electronics manufacturing and assembly team. In this hands-on role, you will support the assembly, repair, and testing of electronic and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and repair electronic and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Follow production schedules and complete assigned tasks on time Report defective materials or issues to supervisor Collect data and compile production and quality reports Troubleshoot minor equipment or machinery issues Cross-train in multiple assembly tasks to support team needs Perform other duties as needed to meet quality and output goals Support small batch production and general production line operations Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus Mechanically inclined with ability to use common hand tools and basic production equipment Ability to work at a steady pace at a bench station Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to follow written instructions and verbal directions accurately Excellent verbal and written communication skills Teamwork skills and reliability (consistent attendance, punctuality) Willingness to learn new tools, machines, or processes quickly Preferred Experience (a plus, not required):
Basic soldering skills (surface mount & through-hole) Familiarity with electronic test equipment (multimeters, etc.) Ability to read and interpret electronic and mechanical schematics Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) Hiring Process:
