Key Responsibilities
• Requirements Documentation: Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions, including business process models and reports.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate current business processes and identify areas for improvement, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Testing and Validation: Participate in testing new systems and processes to ensure they meet business requirements and function as intended.
• Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.
Skills and Qualifications • Technical Skills: Experience with business process modeling and general office productivity tools is required. • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders. • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights, is preferred. • Required Experience: o 10+ years of experience working in technology domains. (Higher education preferred.) o 5+ years of experience eliciting and documenting business requirements and user stories in Waterfall and Agile project environments. o 5+ years of experience creating test plans and test cases. o 5+ years of demonstrated ability to work independently with some guidance on work product. • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not required. A relevant Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
Work Environment • Setting: Primarily onsite with options for remote work. • Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC).
