Overview:
We are seeking a skilled
Project Manager
to support a 24/7 Technical Operations Center (TOC) responsible for monitoring and maintaining a complex, nationwide IT infrastructure. This is a mission-critical environment that demands real-time responsiveness, technical leadership, and collaboration with multidisciplinary IT teams.
Location:
Camp Springs, MD
Clearance Requirement:
Must have a favorably adjudicated background investigation appropriate for the sensitivity level of the role
Citizenship Requirement:
U.S. Citizenship required
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality standards in planning, execution, and delivery
Lead large-scale IT initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementation of emerging technologies like AI and automation
Oversee real-time infrastructure monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution
Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to ensure operational excellence
Provide executive-level reporting and insights to support strategic decisions
Serve as the primary liaison between technical staff and business stakeholders
Track project milestones to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across programs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of IT experience
Minimum 5 years of IT Project Management experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
At least one technical certification preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, MCITP/MCSE, CISSP)
Demonstrated experience managing complex IT environments in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting
Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required
