etrailer.com is seeking a talented and driven Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our growing team. This full-time role is based at our Wentzville, MO headquarters and comes with a competitive benefits package. As a key contributor to our Business Insights team, you'll help turn raw data into actionable intelligence that drives smarter decision-making across the organization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a curious nature, and a passion for solving problems and uncovering patterns in data.
What you'll do: •Accurately collect, model, and manage data for a variety of business reports •Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports that deliver meaningful insight •Build and optimize systems to support scalable reporting processes •Examine and troubleshoot existing reports to resolve data or design issues •Work cross-functionally with departments to understand goals and provide analytical support •Translate complex data into clear, understandable stories that inform business strategies
What you bring: •Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar •Proficiency in relational databases and tools like SQL Server Management Studio •Strong analytical, reporting, and visualization skills •Solid understanding of business analysis concepts and data design •Excellent problem-solving ability and a natural curiosity for digging into data •Effective time and project management skills, with the ability to juggle shifting priorities •A collaborative mindset-you thrive in team environments and enjoy partnering across departments •Great attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy •Industry knowledge is not required but considered a plus •Passion for RVs, camping, recreation, cars, or trucks is also a bonus
Education and Experience: •Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field •Prior experience as a Reporting Developer or BI Developer •Familiarity with development lifecycles and broad functional business knowledge •Applies a solid foundation of principles, theories, and data practices to their work
