We are seeking an experienced
DevOps Engineer
with a strong background in secure networking, cloud infrastructure, and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies, infrastructure as code, and cloud-based systems, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:
Design, develop, deploy, and support secure systems across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and support using CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues Evaluate system performance and implement improvements Maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and configurations Ensure compliance with U.S. Government security and regulatory standards Support secure software development and incident response efforts Qualifications of the DevOps Engineer:
Local to RTP, NC preferred, but remote candidates will be considered 3-5 years of experience in IT, DevOps, or network engineering roles Strong networking background: BGP, EIGRP, SD-WAN, Cisco Nexus, Routing & Switching Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and hybrid environments Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), version control (e.g., Git) Applied knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices Understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53) and secure development practices Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Compensation of the DevOps Engineer:
Salary Range: $100,000 - $142,250, based on experience Location: Onsite in RTP, NC preferred (Remote optional) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, parental leave, and sick leave as required by law
