We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in secure networking, cloud infrastructure, and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies, infrastructure as code, and cloud-based systems, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:
- Design, develop, deploy, and support secure systems across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and support using CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
- Evaluate system performance and implement improvements
- Maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and configurations
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Government security and regulatory standards
- Support secure software development and incident response efforts
- Local to RTP, NC preferred, but remote candidates will be considered
- 3-5 years of experience in IT, DevOps, or network engineering roles
- Strong networking background: BGP, EIGRP, SD-WAN, Cisco Nexus, Routing & Switching
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and hybrid environments
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), version control (e.g., Git)
- Applied knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53) and secure development practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $142,250, based on experience
- Location: Onsite in RTP, NC preferred (Remote optional)
