The Event Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Vice President of Global Marketing.This role manages marketing events including trade shows, networking events in energy, water, IoT, and defense/security markets. As an event specialist focused on supporting revenue generation for the company product line, this role will rely on solid communication with other departments to effectively execute objectives and coordinate with colleagues to accomplish tasks. Key Responsibilities:Plan and execute successful 25+ medium to large trade shows and 30+ small conference-style events annually. Manage logistics including product shipping, lodging, meeting facilitation, product demos and displays and moreParticipate in development of display and trade show booth design and functionalitySelect and manage marketing promotional materials and branded attireIdentify and present event advertisement opportunities to Sales and Marketing teams. Collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialist to effectively capture event content. Engage with vendors globally.Develop, implement and manage analytics to evaluate return on investment from tradeshows and other events.Maintain detailed event budget in partnership with finance department and support future event budget forecasting.Gather competitive intelligence and customer feedback from shows and develop post-show summaries for sales teams. Continually research trade show opportunities in various markets. Support planning and execution of online-based events such as webinars.Support post-show follow-up and lead management.To succeed in this role, the Event Marketing Specialist will:Represent the marketing department as a positive brand ambassador with customers, colleagues, and key stakeholders.Support marketing department annual goals by identifying and recommending strategies for success with emphasis on special events.Communicate regularly and proactively with the VP of Global Marketing on project status.Benefits:At Geospace our employees enjoy benefits to support their physical, financial, and emotional wellness.
