Position Overview:
Communiboost Are you passionate about events and looking to kick-start your career in the dynamic world of event planning? We are seeking an Entry Level Event Specialist who is eager to learn and grow in this exciting industry. As an Entry Level Event Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our event management team in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including corporate functions, trade shows, and social gatherings.
Salary Range: $16.50 - $26.00 hourly Location: Houston,TX
Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of various events from conception to completion. Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering services, and audiovisual needs. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials. Prepare and maintain event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to guidelines. Support marketing efforts before, during, and after events, including social media promotion and distribution of promotional materials. Gather and analyze feedback post-event to aid in future planning and improvements. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or a related field preferred, but not required. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and vendors professionally. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support team members during all phases of event planning and execution. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus. Benefits
