SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT | LARGE PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRM | PAY: $55-$65 PER HOUR (W2 ONLY) - NOT ABLE TO USE SUB-VENDORS FOR THIS ROLE | DURATION 6+MONTHS | HYBRID ONSITE (NASHVILLE)

Client: Large Public Accounting Firm

Position: Solutions Architect

Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)

Pay: $55-$65 per hour (W2 - Only)

Duration: 6+Months

We are seeking a seasoned

Solutions Architect

to join our internal Infrastructure and Engineering team at a top-tier public accounting and professional services firm. This is

not a client-facing role ; instead, you will focus on the

design, development, and delivery

of internal technology infrastructure solutions that support mission-critical business functions across the firm.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and platform teams to design and implement

scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions

that drive agility and performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep systems engineering experience, full-stack cloud-native expertise, and a passion for innovation-particularly in AI/ML and Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities Architect and implement internal infrastructure solutions across

hybrid environments

(cloud and on-premises). Collaborate with Systems Engineers, DevOps, SREs, and platform stakeholders to design

modern, resilient systems

aligned with strategic business goals. Lead

infrastructure design reviews

and ensure technical documentation, workflows, and diagrams reflect production-grade architectures. Support daily

operations and provisioning activities

related to infrastructure lifecycle management and enablement. Promote best practices in

instrumentation, observability, automation , and

secure coding

across teams. Contribute to

engineering standards and governance

in areas such as DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud migration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Engage with internal users and technical teams to identify

performance gaps, design deficiencies , and

modernization opportunities . Stay current on emerging technologies-including

GenAI, containerization, and service mesh -to foster innovation. Advocate for

Agile and Lean methodologies

in solution design, delivery, and iteration. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 8+ years

of experience in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or software engineering in enterprise environments. Proven expertise in: Front-end & back-end frameworks : Angular, React, Node.js, Python, Streamlit, C#, .NET Core, Golang Databases : SQL and NoSQL systems Cloud-native architecture : Hands-on experience with FaaS, PaaS, microservices on Azure, AWS, or GCP Infrastructure tooling : GitHub, Azure DevOps (ADO), SonarQube, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools 2+ years

of hands-on experience implementing AI/ML and Generative AI solutions Strong foundation in OOP/OOD principles, design diagrams (ERD, DFD, State/Sequence/Activity),

data structures , and

algorithms Familiarity with enterprise frameworks and methodologies:

XP, SAFe, Lean, DevSecOps, SRE Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and translate business needs into technical solutions Passionate about technology, solution quality, and driving outcomes that
