Job Description:
You will be supporting physicians during patient exams by accurately documenting medical information, assisting with diagnostics, and ensuring proper charting and coding. You will help maintain clinic flow by coordinating with staff, managing patient follow-ups, and preparing exam rooms in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities/ Job Duties: Document physician assessments, treatments, and diagnostic plans in patient charts using accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes Communicate with providers, staff, and patients to support the care plan and ensure smooth clinic flow Prepare for patient visits by reviewing referrals and coordinating necessary medications, diagnostics, and equipment Assist during exams by providing instruments, observing patient reactions, and responding to medical emergencies as needed Ensure timely chart completion, including amendments and follow-up scheduling Travel to multiple clinic sites as needed, with weekly schedules provided in advance Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma 1+ year of prior Scribe experience in a fast paced medical environment (need to be in person scribe experience, patient interaction focused) Smart & tech savvy - proficient in any computer system (EMR, Microsoft, Google, etc) Ability to commit for 2-3 years ideally Schedule/ Shift:
Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts - must be available 6:30am-6:30pm
