Summit TRC is seeking a motivated and ambitious Systems Integration Engineer with strong experience in Windows. The ideal candidate will perform integration tasks like installation, configuration, automation, test, and analysis of a variety of operating systems and other system or network components. If you have a knack for making different software and hardware communicate seamlessly at the low level (including bare metal), please apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, deploy, and patch Windows systems Troubleshoot and solve systems-level issues in a mixed OS environment Integrate and test hardware and software components to improve system compatibility and performance Implement and manage virtualized solutions through tools like VMware, Hyper-V, or different hypervisors Develop scripts for autonomous deployment, monitoring, or configuration management using languages like Bash, Python, or Ansible Automate the creation, deployment, and configuration of virtual machines and containers Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and cybersecurity engineers to design and integrate seamless solutions from the physical layer to the application layer Develop technical engineering documentation Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors Degree in a relevant field Must be US Citizen possessing a secret clearance Strong proficiency with Windows systems Strong proficiency with other operating systems Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, vSphere, KVM, Hyper-V, or other hypervisors Proficiency in scripting and automation Solid understanding of networking concepts Experience with maintaining cybersecurity best practices Nice to Have:
Experience using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), MECM, or SCCM Using containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes in a secure environment
